This charming paint colour palette combines warm neutrals, earth tones, and a pop of pleasing pink.
Gaining inspiration from his own living room space comes naturally to Timothy Corrigan, who is always eager to share his design vision:
“Because this house was to become a repository of all the many objects and paintings I loved, I wanted to keep the spaces simple and the detailing refined.” “I narrowed the entry to the living room from the hall to make the room feel more enclosed and make it easier to lay out the furniture in a welcoming manner. I added understated crown mouldings and fanciful plasterwork on the ceiling. But the walls are pale, the upholstery fabrics are neutral, and the majority of the colour and drama comes from the accessories and the paintings, which include a vividly coloured nude by Carolus-Duran.”
Corrigan’s paint colour palette combines white hues and neutrals—the crisp White Dove OC-17 and creamy French White 1093—with golden Vellum CC-200 and mustard-tinged French Horn 195. Dramatically deep Appalachian Brown 2115-10 is reminiscent of the rich, wooden furniture, while vibrant Bubble Tea CSP-1180 echoes oversized pillows, cheery curtains and a vase of freshly cut flowers.
