Helping Make Kids’ Wishes Come True

Discover how Benjamin Moore is transforming children’s spaces by helping grant room makeover wishes through a partnership with Make-A-Wish.

Benjamin Moore is pleased to join Make-A-Wish in granting life-changing wishes for children fighting critical illnesses. Each wish is an integral part of a child's treatment journey. Research shows children who have wishes granted build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight their illnesses.

We understand the importance of creating safe, inclusive, and accessible spaces that comfort-whether it be a bedroom, backyard, playroom, or game room. We also recognize the power paint and color have in affecting mood. Benjamin Moore provides paint and resources needed to transform rooms, outdoor spaces, and more into places that uplift spirits and promote healing.

Benjamin Moore is providing $300,000 over two years to Make-A-Wish and is encouraging its employees to support the cause during World Wish Month™ in April.

A Wish Story: A Backyard Oasis of Fun

Davaughn, 10
blood disorder

Davaughn is a spirited child who loves adventure, roasting marshmallows, and being outdoors. Born with a blood disorder, he has faced frequent treatments and hospital visits. A great source of strength for Davaughn has been the thought of playing outside with his family. His wish was simple: a backyard makeover to create memories at home.

Thanks to Make-A-Wish and partners like Benjamin Moore, Davaughn’s wish became a reality. His backyard now features a playset for climbing, swinging, and sliding, plus a cozy fire pit for his love of roasting marshmallows. Neat landscaping and a fence refreshed with Benjamin Moore Woodluxe® Exterior Wood Stain in Maritime White OC-5 complete his outdoor oasis. Now he has the perfect backyard to match his playful spirit—a place to forget about hospitals and focus on making lasting memories with his family.

A Wish Story: Schoolhouse Retreat

Addalynn, 9
cancer

Addalynn is a dedicated and enthusiastic learner. When a cancer diagnosis led to her being homeschooled, she wished for a special place where she could focus on her studies. Make-A-Wish turned her wish into reality by creating a personalized schoolhouse clubhouse just for her.

Located in her backyard, this charming clubhouse was thoughtfully designed to provide Addalynn with everything she needs for her education. Benjamin Moore paint colors Bucktrout Brown CW-180 and Acadia White OC-38 create a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere, setting the tone for her new space. Addalynn is thrilled with her schoolhouse and eagerly looks forward to continuing her learning journey in her very own private retreat.
